How can a non-surgical neck lift help me to achieve a more youthful appearance?

Many people are aware of the benefits of BOTOX when it comes to reducing forehead wrinkles. That same benefit can be obtained by using BOTOX to relax certain neck muscles, thereby giving them a smoother appearance. BOTOX can be combined with specific fillers that lift the neck tissue to create a nonsurgical lift of the neck.

In fact, BOTOX injections can also be combined with other procedures such as IPL photofacials, chemical peels, dermal fillers, and fractional CO2 lasers to provide even more dramatic results – all without the need for invasive surgery.

Who is a good candidate for a non-surgical neck lift?

The ideal candidates for a non-surgical neck lift, also known as the MM neck lift, are those who have a mild-to-moderate amount of sagging skin, superficial wrinkles, and/or banding in the neck area.

These individuals want a smoother looking neck, but are not sure they are ready for a surgical procedure. Those who have an important event coming up often choose a non-surgical neck lift in order to look their best for the one-time event.

The banding in the neck can be relaxed with BOTOX, while volumizers, such as Restylane Lyft, Voluma, Radiesse, or Sculptra can be used in the face to ‘lift’ sagging neck skin. Skin tightening can also be performed, if needed, using Ultherapy or a fractional CO2 laser.

Will I be comfortable during my nonsurgical neck lift treatment in Atlanta?

This treatment is performed in the office in 30 minutes. Dr. Majmundar uses blunt microcannulas for injection which reduces pain and bruising significantly. Microcannulas are blunt instruments used to deliver filler into facial tissue. Because it is blunt, unlike needles, the microcannulas create less damage to underlying soft tissue reducing bruising, swelling, and pain.

Filler or BOTOX injections can be made more comfortable through the use of nitrous oxide (also known as ‘laughing gas’) to minimize any discomfort or anxiety, making your experience stress free. The patient can drive themselves home within 10 minutes of the treatment! Because of the analgesic properties of nitrous oxide, the treatment can be combined with others to maximize the patient’s time.

What is recovery like?

Patients are able to resume their normal activities immediately after having a non-surgical neck lift. There may be slight tenderness, and swelling or bruising at the injection site for a short time after having injections, usually 24 hours. Skin tightening procedures are performed the same day if needed to maximize skin tightening.

What is the cost of a non-surgical necklift?

A non-surgical neck lift is performed differently for each client, as every patient has different needs and aesthetic goals. Therefore, costs will vary. You will receive a full quote for your treatment during your confidential consultation in Alpharetta, and we will also help you to apply for financing from a variety of reputable healthcare lenders.

Re-Opening May 4th Update:

As a valued member of the Northside Plastic Surgery family, I want to personally update you on steps our practice has taken to protect you and your health in light of the COVID-19 situation.

As it has always been, the safety and health of our patients and team members remains our highest priority. As your physician, I want to thank you for your support and the confidence you have in our practice. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken the basic CDC recommendations and have added the following extra measures to protect our patients:

  1. We are waiving our $150 fee for Virtual Consultations for new and established patients.
  2. We ask all patients to stay in their car and call us upon arrival. Once on-site, your temperature will be taken along with a screening questionnaire, you will be provided hand sanitizer, and then escorted directly to an exam room or empty reception area. We ask all patients to wear a surgical mask or face covering to their appointment. As a high-end practice, we are taking advantage of our large size and multiple VIP waiting areas to maximize social distancing.
  3. We are performing regular and careful screening of patients with a bias for suspicion that a patient might have the coronavirus.
  4. All staff are screened daily with a temperature check and symptom survey. All staff are required to wear a surgical mask, gloves, and perform frequent hand washing.
  5. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas hourly (including lobbies, furniture, elevators, door handles, exam chairs, public bathrooms, etc.) and have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectant. All exam rooms and highly touched surfaces are sanitized in between patients.
  6. Because of the increased sanitizing requirements, we have reduced the number of patients that will be seen every hour and spacing out appointments.
  7. Since we have our own fully accredited on-site surgery center, we do not have actively infected patients using our operating rooms such as in hospitals. This provides a great security blanket for our patients. We are currently performing at full capacity and completely prepared to perform all scheduled surgeries and procedures and are taking all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and well-being.
  8. We are postponing all advanced training sessions for visiting physicians and providers until June.
  9. We ask that all patients with upper respiratory symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath to please reschedule your appointments and call your family doctor.
  10. For more, you can always find up-to-date and accurate information on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.

Thank you for being a loyal patient. We will remain attentive to this situation and keep you updated on any changes with the practice. We are privileged to serve you and look forward to seeing you soon.
