AccuTite by InMode is a cutting-edge minimally-invasive device that removes unwanted fat deposits and tightens skin tissues in harder-to-reach areas, such as the eyelids, brows, jowls, etc. You should consider this treatment if you want to remove unwanted fat deposits from your face without surgeries, incisions, or excessive downtime. Northside Plastic Surgery is a national training center for InMode treatments, so you can trust us to provide specialized AccuTite treatments.

What is AccuTite?

AccuTite is a non-surgical and minimally-invasive body contouring treatment for smaller regions, such as the jowls, brows, upper arms, knees, elbows, and the back of the hands. The treatment is similar to BodyTite and FaceTite by InMode, but it’s meant for smaller regions. The handheld AccuTite device uses radio frequency-assisted lipolysis to remove unwanted fat tissues and encourage collagen production, thereby tightening the skin tissues in the targeted regions.

How does AccuTite work?

AccuTite’s functioning is based on radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis. The device consists of two small probes that deliver radiofrequency energy to the small and delicate parts of the face and body. The radiofrequency energy melts the unwanted subcutaneous fat tissues, facilitating their easy extraction from the body via liposuction. Meanwhile, the heat energy encourages your body to produce new collagen fibers, leading to skin cell contracture, thereby tightening the treatment areas.

Who is a good candidate for AccuTite?

You’re a suitable candidate for AccuTite if you want to remove unwanted fat tissues from small and delicate regions of your face or body, such as the jowls, elbows, knees, back of the hands, or eyelids. The procedure is suitable for patients of all ages, skin types, and skin colors. There are no major contraindications, but you need to be in generally good health with realistic expectations from the procedure. The surgeon will review your medical history to ensure you’re eligible for AccuTite.

What happens during the AccuTite procedure?

AccuTite is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure that concludes within 20 minutes. It’s performed under local anesthesia with sedation to ensure optimal comfort without stress or anxiety. The surgeon inserts one of the prongs of the AccuTite device into the targeted area with the subcutaneous fat tissues. The other electrode is placed over the skin. When activated, radiofrequency energy passes between the probes to liquefy the fat cells, facilitating their removal via liposuction. The radiofrequency energy also encourages collagen production for skin contracture.

Does it hurt? What is the downtime?

AccuTite doesn’t hurt because it’s performed under local anesthesia. You’ll experience some redness, bruising, and swelling for the next few days, but the surgeon will prescribe pain medications to ensure post-operative comfort. The surgeon will also ask you to wear compression garments around the treated areas for a few days to minimize swelling and aid the recovery process. The downtime is minimal — most patients resume work and daily activities in 2 days. However, you should avoid strenuous activities for several weeks.
