As we mature, we lose volume in our face in the form of fat, muscle, skin, and bone. This occurs throughout the entire face especially around the eyes, temples, cheekbones, cheeks, and around the mouth. The loss in volume makes our face look ‘deflated’ causing the overlying skin to sag. Adding volume to our face in the areas we know volume loss occurs allows the face to ‘re-inflate’ and corrects the sagging skin around the jaw line, cheeks, eyes, neck, and mouth.

Our non surgical facelift in Atlanta, also known as the MM Lift™, is a revolutionary technique that improves the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, tear troughs, and the jowls at the same time in a single visit. This procedure is great for patients who want a facelift but aren't quite ready for a surgical procedure.

Various volumizers are used to create a nonsurgical lift that mimics a surgical mini-lift. This lift avoids the overfilled appearance around the mouth, namely in the nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

We use blunt cannulas to inject the volumizers or fillers which decrease bruising and swelling by 90-95%. Blunt cannulas can be thought of as blunt needles instead of sharp needles. Few practitioners use a blunt cannula because of training and experience reasons but also because of the cost of blunt cannulas.

Plasma Pen

For more complete and long-lasting results, we also offer the Subnovii Plasma Pen as an optional add-on to your MM Lift™. This revolutionary and scientifically-advanced treatment provides natural cellular regeneration and increased collagen that tightens, firms, and provides overall improvement to your facial structure and appearance.

The Plasma Pen harnesses the power of low-frequency energy and plasma to intentionally create micro-injuries throughout the upper and lower layers of your skin without piercing or damaging the epidermis (the top layer of your skin). Throughout the healing process, your skin will continue to rebuild and restructure itself with new, fresh collagen and youthful, fresh cells.

When you combine the Subnovii Plasma Pen with our unique application of dermal fillers, the results can be breathtaking and continue to improve in the weeks following treatment. Plasma Pen treatments are safe for virtually anyone, and Dr. Majmundar will discuss this option in more detail during your initial consultation.

Radiesse® , Voluma, Restylane Lyft, and Sculptra® are not just wrinkle fillers; they are also global facial volumizers. They provide more volume than other fillers such as Restylane®, Juvederm® Ultra, Belotero, or Juvederm® Ultra Plus and last longer than these fillers. Using these products, we can restore youthful facial contours by filling under the skin so that it inflates or “lifts” the facial tissues. Our double board certified facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Majmundar, uses his knowledge of proportional facial contours to recreate a balanced and natural non surgical face lift in Atlanta, known in our office as the ‘Natural Liquid Facelift’, also known as the MM Lift™.

It provides global rejuvenation to the temples, laugh lines, sagging cheek tissues, and around the eyes. As with all other injections there can be temporary swelling, redness, and bruising, though the use of blunt cannulas decreases your risk. You will be provided with an ice pack after your treatment to use the remainder of the day. You may use your makeup and sunscreen immediately after treatment.

Re-Opening May 4th Update:

As a valued member of the Northside Plastic Surgery family, I want to personally update you on steps our practice has taken to protect you and your health in light of the COVID-19 situation.

As it has always been, the safety and health of our patients and team members remains our highest priority. As your physician, I want to thank you for your support and the confidence you have in our practice. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken the basic CDC recommendations and have added the following extra measures to protect our patients:

  1. We are waiving our $150 fee for Virtual Consultations for new and established patients.
  2. We ask all patients to stay in their car and call us upon arrival. Once on-site, your temperature will be taken along with a screening questionnaire, you will be provided hand sanitizer, and then escorted directly to an exam room or empty reception area. We ask all patients to wear a surgical mask or face covering to their appointment. As a high-end practice, we are taking advantage of our large size and multiple VIP waiting areas to maximize social distancing.
  3. We are performing regular and careful screening of patients with a bias for suspicion that a patient might have the coronavirus.
  4. All staff are screened daily with a temperature check and symptom survey. All staff are required to wear a surgical mask, gloves, and perform frequent hand washing.
  5. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas hourly (including lobbies, furniture, elevators, door handles, exam chairs, public bathrooms, etc.) and have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectant. All exam rooms and highly touched surfaces are sanitized in between patients.
  6. Because of the increased sanitizing requirements, we have reduced the number of patients that will be seen every hour and spacing out appointments.
  7. Since we have our own fully accredited on-site surgery center, we do not have actively infected patients using our operating rooms such as in hospitals. This provides a great security blanket for our patients. We are currently performing at full capacity and completely prepared to perform all scheduled surgeries and procedures and are taking all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and well-being.
  8. We are postponing all advanced training sessions for visiting physicians and providers until June.
  9. We ask that all patients with upper respiratory symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath to please reschedule your appointments and call your family doctor.
  10. For more, you can always find up-to-date and accurate information on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.

Thank you for being a loyal patient. We will remain attentive to this situation and keep you updated on any changes with the practice. We are privileged to serve you and look forward to seeing you soon.
