All of our staff nurses are certified and have more than 30 years of experience. All of our staff has undergone sensitivity training, ensuring that we maintain the utmost in privacy and confidentiality while at the center. The center provides a private, confidential, and comfortable setting where surgery is performed.

Every patient has the full attention of our experienced and highly trained registered nurses, surgical technicians, anesthesiologists and, of course, your board-certified plastic surgeon.

About AAAASF Accreditation

The Greater Atlanta Plastic Surgery Center makes patient safety its primary focus and, as such, has undergone the stringent AAAASF accreditation to add a layer of assurance to patients.

As an AAAASF-accredited facility, we have taken additional steps to foster a safe environment for your healthcare. The Greater Atlanta Plastic Surgery Center must pass a rigorous evaluation process and comply with 100 percent of AAAASF standards for patient safety.

Patient safety is an ongoing effort. To stay accredited, our facility must complete periodic self-surveys as well as undergo formal onsite re-surveys by a qualified third-party surveyor.

The Greater Atlanta Plastic Surgery Center also partakes in a peer review process in which other active members within the outpatient health care profession conduct a review of the center. An accredited facility demonstrates compliance with AAAASF’s strict requirements for the facility, as well as its directors, physicians, medical specialists, and others.

Day Of Surgery

Our utmost priority is your safety. Greater Atlanta Plastic Surgery Center, an on-site facility at our brand new full service cosmetic center in Alpharetta, is an AAAASF accredited, state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center specializing only in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Mike Majmundar is also a credentialed and privileged physician at the following hospitals and surgery centers:

We work with only accredited hospitals and outpatient surgery centers. On the day of your surgery, the facility staff and board certified MD anesthesiologists will prepare you for your surgery and make you comfortable. You will meet with your surgeon before your surgery to ask any additional questions you may have. We understand that the morning of surgery can be an anxious time; that’s why we take measures to make you as comfortable and relaxed as possible prior to your procedure. Everything from dim lighting, music, and warm blankets and a welcoming staff will help put your mind at ease. Prior to leaving the pre-op area, Anesthesia will administer a relaxing medication through your IV to improve your comfort and relieve your anxiety.

After surgery, your surgeon will personally visit with your family and update them on your recovery. Recovery generally takes 30-60 minutes depending on your care and comfort needs. Once stable and ready for discharge, you will be allowed to go home where you will continue your recovery in the comfort of your own home.

Re-Opening May 4th! Practice Update View Update Virtual Consultation

Re-Opening May 4th Update:

As a valued member of the Northside Plastic Surgery family, I want to personally update you on steps our practice has taken to protect you and your health in light of the COVID-19 situation.

As it has always been, the safety and health of our patients and team members remains our highest priority. As your physician, I want to thank you for your support and the confidence you have in our practice. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken the basic CDC recommendations and have added the following extra measures to protect our patients:

  1. We are waiving our $150 fee for Virtual Consultations for new and established patients.
  2. We ask all patients to stay in their car and call us upon arrival. Once on-site, your temperature will be taken along with a screening questionnaire, you will be provided hand sanitizer, and then escorted directly to an exam room or empty reception area. We ask all patients to wear a surgical mask or face covering to their appointment. As a high-end practice, we are taking advantage of our large size and multiple VIP waiting areas to maximize social distancing.
  3. We are performing regular and careful screening of patients with a bias for suspicion that a patient might have the coronavirus.
  4. All staff are screened daily with a temperature check and symptom survey. All staff are required to wear a surgical mask, gloves, and perform frequent hand washing.
  5. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas hourly (including lobbies, furniture, elevators, door handles, exam chairs, public bathrooms, etc.) and have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectant. All exam rooms and highly touched surfaces are sanitized in between patients.
  6. Because of the increased sanitizing requirements, we have reduced the number of patients that will be seen every hour and spacing out appointments.
  7. Since we have our own fully accredited on-site surgery center, we do not have actively infected patients using our operating rooms such as in hospitals. This provides a great security blanket for our patients. We are currently performing at full capacity and completely prepared to perform all scheduled surgeries and procedures and are taking all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and well-being.
  8. We are postponing all advanced training sessions for visiting physicians and providers until June.
  9. We ask that all patients with upper respiratory symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath to please reschedule your appointments and call your family doctor.
  10. For more, you can always find up-to-date and accurate information on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.

Thank you for being a loyal patient. We will remain attentive to this situation and keep you updated on any changes with the practice. We are privileged to serve you and look forward to seeing you soon.
