Dr. Mike Majmundar Selected to offer NEW Belotero Dermal Filler in U.S.
Atlanta’s own Mike Majmundar, M.D., a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, is honored to be one of the first surgeons in the country selected by Merz Aesthetics (the manufacturer of Radiesse) to offer patients treatment with the newest dermal filler: Belotero.
Belotero is one of only three hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers approved by the FDA. Belotero is made of the same volumizing and moisturizing components found in the skin, so it is the natural choice for reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Why is Belotero different?
What sets Belotero apart from other fillers is that it is specially designed to actually integrate into the tissue (instead of laying on top and remaining separate). This means that Belotero’s effect is subtle, and even, without a disruption in the natural contours of the face. In fact, Belotero is the thinnest filler available, making it a very effective treatment for very fine lines, especially the vertical “lipstick lines” around the lip/mouth area. Belotero discreetly enhances and rehydrates the client’s appearance for a more radiant look. “We have seen excellent results with Belotero,” commented Dr. Majmundar. “Our focus and commitment to our patients has always been to help them look refreshed and younger while maintaining a natural appearance. Belotero alone, or in conjunction with other fillers, is an excellent choice to achieve these goals for many of our clients.”
How long does it last?
In clinical studies, 97% of patients showed a visible improvement after just one treatment with Belotero.* The studies also indicate that 66% of patients continued to show a visible improvement nine months after a single treatment.
Belotero is currently promoted in the UK and will formally launch soon in the United States. Selected doctors, like Dr. Majmundar, have the ability to offer their patients Belotero now.
