Dr. Mike Majmundar's practice is unique in that it focuses exclusively on plastic surgery of the face, head and neck.  As a double board certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, his complete approach to facial aesthetics promotes healthy skin, youthful contours, and natural results without appearing "done" or artificial.  He has also been featured in several magazines, newspapers, and local publications regarding his philosophy on natural and balanced facial surgery results.

Dr. Majmundar is a respected and skilled facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has completed a prestigious fellowship with one of the country’s leading facial plastic surgeons and among the nation’s busiest facial cosmetic surgeons. Dr. Majmundar is also a fully trained and board certified Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgeon with knowledge of not only beauty and form, but also function. This gives him a unique perspective of both the inner workings of the head and neck as well as the outer envelope of skin and tissue that portrays our appearance.

In addition, Dr. Majmundar has served as a clinical instructor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of New Mexico Hospital System where he helped train medical students and surgical residents. He was ranked in the top 6% nationally on the facial plastic surgery written board examination, graduated in the top 10% of his medical school class at the Medical College of Georgia, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Chemistry and a Certificate (Minor) in Biochemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and was Valedictorian of his high school class. His achievements include many publications in the facial plastic surgery literature and several presentations at major national and international facial plastic surgery meetings.

He is also a member of the American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), the world’s largest association of facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons (with over 3,000 members) and the only organization dedicated to the advancement of plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head and neck.

Dr. Majmundar's outside interests include landscape and portrait digital photography, traveling, dining, movies, spending time with his beautiful wife and daughter, and attending the various professional, sporting, and cultural events in the Atlanta and Alpharetta area where he and his family currently reside.
