To conceal the scar incision is made along the natural lines of the eyelids during blepharoplasty. The skin is then carefully separated from the underlying tissue, the extra fat is removed and the skin covering the sagging bags is trimmed and the muscles are tightened. The lower bagginess can sometimes be corrected by making an internal slit within the inside of the lower eyelid. The lines and wrinkles can also be treated by using laser or chemical peel.
